There can be up to 4 residents on this rotation each block (combined family medicine and internal medicine).

Description: Outpatient Experience

Schedule: Individualized schedules will be emailed to Residents ~1 week before the rotation. Please see below for an example schedule. Individual resident's schedules will vary from this. Residents will also give a one time presentation on a geriatric topic during one of the Thursday's Geriatric Interest Rounds education sessions (see Welcome letter attached below for details)

Parking: There is no onsite parking available at the Senior Health. See details below.

Thursday morning responsibilities are limited to Geriatric Interest Rounds (see your personalized schedule email). The remainder of time on those 1/2 days or any day set aside for self-study can be used to look at the following resources:

Special Notes: Directions: From the Patient Parking Garage.... Proceed into the hospital from the garage.  You will walk up a long glass enclosed ramp.   At the end of the ramp take a left.  Walk through one set of double doors and then take a right down another long hallway. You will pass the gift shop on your right and the chapel. The rehabilitation department has a sign overhead reading “Rehabilitative Department”.  Make a right into the department.  The front desk will be on your right.  Please inform the front desk you are to shadow in PT wound care. You can have a seat in the waiting area and someone from wound care will escort you back to the clinic. Special Notes
